Motta Palace Apartments and Rooms

The host was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast comes as coffee and pastries at a neighborhood store. It's a cozy apartment on a street corner, recently renovated, with a view of Etna. The shower is upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The little town is quiet, with not too much going on, but it's a good starting point for road trips in eastern Sicily.

The owners were kind and friendly, and their helpfulness was what we appreciated most. Our spacious, clean room stayed quiet despite being right in the historic center. Step outside and you're among the alleys, shops, and main monuments. Breakfast was a lovely surprise. It's also well placed for visiting Catania and Mount Etna, and only 10 minutes from the airport. Choosing this B&B for its location worked out perfectly.

We were two families and got two neighboring apartments, with private parking as an option. Everything was very well organized, and the manager was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served at a nearby café, just a few meters away, where we were greeted warmly and had excellent food. The apartments were spotless and well managed, with careful attention to detail and great availability. It's a beautiful, convenient base near Etnaland, only 14 minutes from the amusement park. We were very satisfied and recommend it.

Our ground floor room looked good, neat, modern, and spacious, but the street noise was a huge problem. We couldn't rest. On the last night we got only four hours of sleep, waking at 5 am because of the noise outside. What a shame, because the accommodation itself looks very good. If noise while sleeping doesn't bother you, it may be fine, but it was a problem for us.
