Marcella and Massimo, the owners, are polite and respectful, and do their best to make your stay pleasant. There's a gated private parking area, so you can park right in front of your room with peace of mind. The place is close to Etnapolis, Etnaland, and Centro Sicilia, and its central position in Sicily makes most places easy to reach by car. It's a good strategic spot while still being peaceful.

I strongly advise against staying here. I left after one sleepless night, freezing, dealing with insects as big as crocodiles, barely any hot water, and a bed that felt like a tombstone. To give you an idea of how truthful the reviews are, the one suggesting a stay of at least a week was written by the owner. Who knows about the others.

The owners are helpful and discreet, and the place has a fairytale feel and atmosphere. If you want to be surrounded by nature and recharge, it's ideal. Etnaland is an excellent 10-15 minutes away.

The building has no insulation, so it feels like sleeping outdoors. We were freezing in late March. The bed is like stone, and there's not enough hot water for two people.
