Camping Pineta

Terrible campsite. I would've been better off pitching my tent at a highway gas station, where at least I could've had a proper hot shower. The receptionist didn't speak English and wasn't kind. They claim to have Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work. The bathrooms were filthy, with dust and hair in the showers. The showers had no doors, and the toilets barely had doors either. I regretted staying. If I could, I'd give it a negative score.

We stayed in a caravan and I'd recommend that over the bungalows, perhaps for a shorter visit. The toilets were cleaned twice a day and were mostly clean. Staff were helpful despite speaking little English. It's a fantastic place for kids and dogs, with children's entertainment every night. You hear less of that noise from the caravan area. The restaurant was a surprise, and a must if you're in town.

We were there just one night before taking the ferry to Corsica. I emailed to ask for a quiet bungalow with a baby bed, but they put us beside the restaurant, where a wedding was going on that night. We couldn't sleep until 3 a.m., and they never replied to my complaint email. The bungalow had a dirty bathroom and a strange smell, too. The customer service was absolutely terrible. If you want a good night's sleep, choose one of the other places nearby.

I'd only recommend this campsite if you're fine with dirty toilets and showers in an open building full of insects. The shower rooms leave your head and legs visible to everyone. There isn't any separation between the men's and women's rooms, either, it's all one hall.
