Falkensteinerhof

We were in a quiet village in a lovely valley, with beautiful views all around. The room had plenty of space, a nice bath, and a balcony looking out at the mountains. The spa was peaceful and well put together, with several pools and saunas. Staff were helpful, and service was great. There was lots to choose from at dinner, and breakfast included local cheeses and other products, which was a nice touch. Really beautiful place.

The staff really tried to make us feel at home. When I had health problems, they even took me to the doctor and did what they could to sort things out. We spent our honeymoon here and on the nearby ski slope, and it was the most beautiful week of my life. The food was something I’d never tasted before. We especially loved the outdoor pool, warm while snow fell around us. At night, children were playing with snowballs in the streets near the hotel, so we joined in. It all felt magical. I hope we can come back in winter and feel that warmth again. Thank you Falkensteiner, you’re etched in my heart!

My wife follows a gluten free diet, and the kitchen made special meals for her every day, plus gluten free pastries at breakfast. The food was amazing, and the after ski snack was great too. We stayed in a romantic suite with a large terrace and a lovely valley view. The hotel’s wellness area has a nice outdoor pool, and the ski area is just 2 minutes away by car. There’s also a shuttle bus from the hotel for Frankensteinerhof guests. Superb services, and we loved our holiday in Vals ❤️

The food and wine were incredible, with such lovely, personal service. There was also a kids’ buffet each day during school holiday times. Everyone on the team seemed happy at work, and we felt completely at home. The director was around all the time throughout the hotel, and her passion for the job really showed in the team. It was hard to leave. We stayed seven nights in a new Panoramic Suite after getting an upgrade. It was gorgeous and big enough for our family of four, including a little separate room for the kids, aged 6 and 14. There was lots of storage, so we could put our luggage out of sight. Housekeeping was outstanding and so kind. I had to work during the stay, and the large, comfortable desk had a really nice view. I’d highly recommend the top floor south side. Wi-Fi was always top. The pool area has a rustic but warm, cozy feel. It’s quiet in the mornings and gets busy after skiing, but there’s room for everyone. You do have to like kids! The sauna area was amazing, and the spa treatments were good and very reasonably priced. Parking was conveniently right in front of the hotel. Thank you for such a lovely stay ❤️
