Marina Rey Beach Resort

The shuttle to the sea was really convenient, and Fiorella at the central bar welcomed us with a delicious "macchiatone". We had a wonderful holiday at Marina Rei Resort, surrounded by greenery in small, charming accommodations. The reception team were very kind and fixed our safe problem in just 2 minutes. They took care of all our requests, and the entertainment staff were friendly, lively, and always happy to give us information. Heartfelt thanks to everyone, including the kitchen and dining room teams.

The food and service were poor, and the dishes were badly presented. It was crowded, cleanliness was lacking, the common areas were small and used for dining instead of their intended purpose, and the beach hadn’t been cleaned in 12 days. The rooms were cramped, too. My family and I stayed here in the last ten days of August, and it was a terrible experience. I’d recommended Civeta after two excellent years at Marina Beach in Orosei, owned by the same person. At similar prices, this property is light years behind in its facilities, staff, and local management, which felt absent and improvised. They weren’t up to the task. I documented everything in videos and photos and sent them to the agency so they wouldn’t unknowingly recommend it to clients. I also shared them on social media. Avoid this place unless it can be brought up to the level of the Orosei property, which, I repeat, is a world apart in every way.

The dining room staff, especially Andrea, Luca, and Sergio, and the bar team, including Stefania, Fiorella, Giulia, and Andrea, were all so kind. Mr. Francesco and his front desk colleagues, shuttle staff Gianni and Fabio, and the lifeguards, including Andrea, helped make the stay feel like a real treat with their smiles and care. We had a dream holiday at Marina Rey Beach Resort, in a beautiful green setting where everything was tended to down to the smallest detail. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent, especially the desserts, and our room was exceptionally clean. We’ve only just got home and already want to come back!

The pool was beautiful and comfortable for everyone, and the sea was fabulous, with clear water and an enchanting beach. We’re a family with three little girls, and we had a positive stay at Marina Rey Beach Resort. The property was very well maintained, clean, and organized, with just the right amenities for small children. The rooms aren’t large, but they’re functional. Food was mixed: some dishes were good, while others were less convincing. As a Roman, I really can’t stand parsley carbonara! The entertainment staff put in lots of energy and were excellent, though with new arrivals every day they couldn’t always give everyone enough attention. Wi-Fi reception definitely needs work. The shuttle was much appreciated and made the distance to the beach a minor issue. I’d recommend the resort especially to families. There’s room for improvement, but plenty here made the holiday pleasant and relaxing.
