Casa Marina

The lake and surrounding region are beautiful, and the apartment is of a good standard. But I can't recommend it because of the cleanliness and service. The worst part was the patio door falling off its hinges as my 8-year-old son, who weighs about 50 kg, tried to close it. It buried him completely; thankfully he wasn't more seriously hurt. I can't stop thinking about what could have happened if our 2-year-old had been underneath. Someone came straight away to put the door back, but I still haven't had an explanation for how it happened. We never managed to meet anyone in person, despite asking more than once. We wanted someone to explain the smart-home setup and look at items that were already broken, though nobody blamed us for those. On the phone, we felt like a nuisance. On the first day, we had to clear the shower drains ourselves, pulling out masses of hair from previous guests so the water would drain. To me, that points to superficial cleaning. There was no vacuum cleaner, so the floor got dirtier each day. We stayed at the beginning of August 2022.
