We really enjoyed staying at Garda Ulivi. The owners were kind, attentive, and helpful, and gave us lots of ideas for nearby sights and places to eat. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and there was a lovely garden as well as parking. It's a strategic base if you want to enjoy the lake and visit the many natural and cultural attractions nearby.

The owners and staff were excellent, and breakfast was simple but filling. The B&B sits above Lago di Garda, with the places we wanted to visit nearby. Our room was clean and decent. It got a little loud on weekends, though weekdays were fine.

One of our favorite stays 😁. You can tell the owner runs the place herself, she really cares about her guests ❤️

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite the nearby road. From the pool you can hear some traffic, but it didn't spoil our time there. The pool is about 10- by 2.5 meters, with sunbeds and parasols, and a sauna and hot tub are available on request in the cooler months. We came as two families for three nights and wound up staying five because we didn't want to go. Luca owns B&Bio Garda Ulivi, and Michela runs it day to day with a remarkable amount of care. Her son Francesco and cousin Sophia pitched in, helped translate when needed, and brought a personal warmth to everything. Michela even looked after the little things: fresh towels, homemade snacks for the kids, and our laundry after it got soaked in the rain. She ironed and folded it, and when we were late to breakfast one morning, she had saved our favorite things for us. The hospitality felt far beyond what you'd expect. Our daughter turned 14 during the visit. Michela decorated the breakfast table with balloons and cake, then arranged a pool party with drinks, snacks, music, and handmade VIP wristbands. Such a thoughtful surprise. Breakfast was fresh and traditionally Italian, served downstairs in a beautifully renovated room. The air conditioning handled the July heat well, and check-in was easy and flexible. Nago is a cozy village on the cliffs above Torbole. There are a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance, plus good takeaway pizza. It worked well as a base for Lake Garda, Arco, and the nearby climbing areas. We have no complaints and are already thinking about coming back next year. Michela and the B&Bio Garda Ulivi team made us feel genuinely welcome.

Our stay was okay, but it didn't match what earlier reviews had led us to expect. They mention Michaela, whom we never met. The room was clean, we got a warm welcome and a free ticket to the waterfall, and the food was decent. The cake was nicely made, and the chia muesli was delicious. Most of the fruit, though, wasn't ripe. The place felt more like a large residential building than a hotel, with locals living there and four guest rooms with bathrooms in what used to be an apartment. Our room was between two streets and noisy. It also couldn't be locked from the outside, so we didn't feel we could leave valuables there. The Wi-Fi didn't work. From 9:30 p.m., there was noisy renovation work in the neighboring apartment, which apparently may soon be rented to guests. The courtyard parking area had corners strewn with rubbish and old furniture, which made for a terrible first impression. The "organic" description felt misleading too. Breakfast had a very limited range of Lidl organic products, while most items weren't organic. Service was poor, and we had to keep asking for things to be replenished.
