The location worked really well as a starting point for exploring the area or heading out on adventures. The apartment was roomy, clean, and everything worked. The kitchen had the basics, though not every item you might have at home, which seems fair. We were looked after warmly, too. If you want a comfortable base rather than a full five-star hotel, I’d happily recommend it. We plan to return to the area and would consider staying here again.

The only thing that bothered us was the bed: it was harder than we like and squeaked, so that cost a star. Otherwise, we’d happily stay again. The apartment was spotless and had what we needed, with towels and linens supplied. The owner was warm and helpful, and we felt welcome right away. Parking behind the house was handy in this lively neighborhood. For this area, the price felt fair.

We spent 10 days in the Saylor apartment as a couple. It had the basics we needed, including a small balcony with a drying rack, a kitchen with basic equipment, and a roomy bathroom with a hairdryer. The owner was kind and always reachable by phone. Being right in the center, close to the beach, made it easy to pop back for lunch; the small coop is a five-minute walk away, with restaurants and other places nearby. The house has internal parking, which is useful because parking in Torbole is a mess. Pets are allowed. It was really hot without air conditioning in August, so I’d suggest at least providing a fan. I’d recommend the place and think I’ll return.

The owners were friendly and easy to reach, and we had a wonderful three-night stay with our two-year-old son. We were in the center of Torbole, a short walk from the lake, playground, and pebble beach, which worked well for both adults and kids. Riva del Garda and Arco are only a few kilometers away. Our apartment was clean and equipped with what we needed, plus parking and a secure spot for our windsurfing gear. We’d be happy to come back! Francesca & Leonardo
