Eco Hotel Bonapace

We had a really enjoyable stay with our three-year-old. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the service was good, and breakfast was excellent, with local products only. The modern hotel is about 500 meters from the facilities and the public beach. You can rent a bed at the beach if you want one. I’d recommend it.

I had to miss my stay for health reasons, but the reception staff were rude and didn’t try to help. I ended up paying the full amount, with no courtesy or assistance. I can’t recommend this place.

It’s a handy location, just a couple of minutes from the bus station, shops, and lake. The staff were friendly and spoke German, Italian, and English. The room had all the basic things you need. As part of the hotel’s eco-friendly approach, they use environmentally friendly products and don’t change towels or tidy the room daily unless you ask. There’s also a city tax of €2 per night.

It’s a five-minute walk to town, and the hotel was one of the few open in early March. The rooms were clean and tidy, a good size, and had balconies. Breakfast offered a good selection, and there was a filtered water machine for filling bottles. The secure bike garage had lots of room, though there weren’t many electrical outlets for charging e-bikes.
