Casa Toblini al Lago

The lake is right outside the gate, and the location couldn't be better. We spent a week there as four people and were more than happy with the apartment. It's simply furnished and clean; the little kitchenette was enough for breakfast and the two times we cooked. We also slept wonderfully, despite the negative comments about the Murphy bed. Saying goodbye was hard, but we'll definitely return.

At these prices, I'd choose a luxury hotel next time. The apartments are worn and need renovation, with no TV or air conditioning. Towels, sheets and final cleaning all cost extra, and you have to bring your own toilet paper. The pool shown on the website is 300m away in another hotel complex, so don't be misled by the photos. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, especially the parents' bed that folds out of a wardrobe. It's a short double bed too, and anyone over 1.80m can barely sleep in it. This place might suit water sports enthusiasts who value being close to the lake.

From the back of the blue building, stairs lead up to the second-floor apartments. Behind the building is the driveway, while the terrace opens straight onto the lake. There's free parking for cars, sails and surfboards, and each apartment has its own sun loungers to take to the beach. The building can house up to six families of five. In each apartment there's a fold-out bed, a sofa, a toilet and shower, a kitchen without a dishwasher, plus a bunk bed and a single bed.
