Getting to town meant a 20-minute walk down from the hotel on the mountain, then a tiring climb back up, and the location felt inconvenient. The room was tiny, very dated and unhygienic. The air conditioning worked on only two of the six days, so I was cold at night when it wasn't running. The half-board meals seemed much the same each day, and I couldn't tell if they were freshly made or reheated convenience food, maybe from Lidl. I never felt full and often went to a restaurant for dinner. I'll choose another hotel next time.

The mattress was surprisingly comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. The furnishings and walls do look a little worn, so yes, the hotel is dated. I booked at the last minute by phone without checking the earlier reviews, and reading them afterward had made me a bit apprehensive. I have to disagree with some of them. Breakfast was good too, with sweet and savory choices.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were consistently friendly, but the dinner felt more like canteen food than a holiday treat. The atmosphere was gloomy. The rooms and bathrooms are dated, and there are no bidets. Unforgivable!

Right in the center of Nago Torbole, the location was perfect. I really enjoyed watching matches at the hotel Baretto, including the UEFA Champions League final and the Italian Sky. The ice cream I got there was very good too. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a great Nago-Torbole experience.

Breakfast was complete, nothing seemed to be missing, and the staff were very friendly. We could also leave our bikes somewhere safe.
