Albergo Villa Mimosa

The breakfast was a real treat, with pancakes and homemade jam, tart, croissants, yogurt, juices, cold cuts and cheese, cream cheese spread, pizza slices, granola, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, herbal tea, and even the option to make hard-boiled eggs. Plenty to choose from, and we could eat outside too. We came for a weekend away, arriving Saturday afternoon. The location is lovely, on quiet Via Granda near a tennis club, with few cars passing. It’s about 10 minutes on foot to the center and 10-15 minutes to the beach. We jumped straight into the pool after arriving. It looked gorgeous, and the cool water felt just right in the heat. Later we went down to Torbole, then slept well despite the warm weather. Cristina at reception was welcoming, genuine, friendly, and professional, an absolute legend. We also met the owner, Carla, the night before we left, and she was just as kind and attentive. They both made us feel like family. On Sunday morning we could leave our car in the free parking lot and enjoy the lake. We had a really positive stay and will be back.

For a short Lake Garda break, this was a nice place to sleep, with a simple, tasty breakfast served in generous portions. The COVID-19 rules were handled well, and the staff were friendly. It’s a one-star hotel, so set your expectations with that in mind. The rooms were very clean, and the lake and main area are about a 10-minute walk away. We didn’t use the pool, though it looked very clean. A couple of small things could be better. After a shower, you need to dry the bathroom floor because the whole room basically becomes the shower. And a small fridge in the room would be welcome, especially since the rooms get very hot and there’s nowhere to keep drinks cold. Thanks to the friendly staff. Daniel Z.

The location was ideal, in a quiet, tucked-away area but still close to Torbole’s lakeside. We were welcomed so warmly, especially our dog, thanks to the kindness of Signora Carla. The room was fairly large and clean. The only thing that could use renovation is the bathroom.

The staff were kind, and everything was clean, but the room, particularly the bathroom, wasn’t suitable for a vacation. I knew there was no air conditioning, yet the room was tiny and very hot. The TV was old and very small. The bathroom had no bidet or shower tray, so it flooded every time I showered.
