Villa Fiore

The complex was spotless, and everyone we met was friendly. It was especially welcoming for dogs: there’s a little gate by the stairs going down, and they gave our dog a bowl and a brand-new ball. The amenities had everything we needed. It’s a distinctive place in a lovely residential area, and we’d be glad to return.

Everything we needed was there, from kitchen utensils to bathroom towels and a hairdryer. The rooms were very clean, and staff came by each day to look after the grounds. There’s a pool and a lovely view, and the location made it easy to get around on foot or by bike. A staircase across the road takes you down to town in under three minutes, while another short flight goes up to a viewpoint.

Villa Fiore made even our very short holiday feel full. I’d worried the ground-floor apartment might be less appealing without the upper-floor view, but the three terraces won me over, two were just for us and they were beautiful. The place was clean and modern, with everything we needed and even a small welcome gift. We were in touch with Katia throughout, and she was so friendly. Thanks again, we’d love to come back.

The apartment has a lovely lake view, plenty of space, and a handy location. Torbole center is about two minutes away by bike or five on foot, and it clearly has potential. Still, we found a lot to criticize: general cleanliness, the €5 charge for the washer or dryer, all the prohibition signs and surveillance cameras, including one pointed straight at the pool, the kitchen equipment, and Wi-Fi that kept dropping or stopped working. We also would have liked more friendliness and help from some of the staff. For what’s offered, it felt too expensive, so we probably wouldn’t stay again.
