Nice place near Bozen....

A nice spot

The accommodation itself was good. There were nine of us across four rooms, all clean and decent, and the breakfast spread was generous, with fresh fruit, cereal, cold cuts and all sorts of coffee. The woman who cleaned the rooms was lovely. The hosts, though, felt a bit odd, and we were corrected several times. Grandma wasn’t allowed to put cutlery out for us at breakfast because it might have to be washed unused. In the evening we were checked on repeatedly, and got a very dirty look when we used a glass from the breakfast dishes for wine we’d bought there. There was hair on the Nutella and croissants, which can happen. We mentioned it, and the landlady said sorry and told us to get more Nutella, but we didn’t receive any :-) We’d been told our four-legged friend was welcome, with the request that he stay in our room during breakfast. We hadn’t understood that he wasn’t allowed in the room in the evening either. That was a shame and a misunderstanding.

We’ve stayed here twice now and were just as happy the second time. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and you can see the care they put into this lovely guesthouse. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, with big comfortable beds and a clean bathroom stocked with shower gel. The balcony was a good size and had a fantastic mountain view. Breakfast is filling, with gluten-free choices among the options. There’s a fridge for food and drinks, plus another with drinks at fair prices. The hallway has a large folder full of excursion tips, and the garden is a nice place to have an evening snack. My parents were impressed too. We’d love to come back and highly recommend it.
