Alis Vanvitelli Suite

Alessandra, the owner, is exceptionally kind, and the apartment is spotless and has all the comforts, apart from one small missing thing: there’s no washing machine. It’s a small, cozy two-room place that worked well for a family of two parents and two children. The location is strategic, close to the funicular that gets you to the city center in a few minutes. The yellow metro line, which connects to all of Naples, is nearby too, and taxis are available at central Piazza Vanvitelli.

In Vomero, there are plenty of services and shops, so you can enjoy city life day to day. It’s also a great base for seeing Naples, with metro and funicular connections nearby. The apartment is welcoming and delightful, equipped with every comfort, and you feel at home straight away. Alessandra and Alessandro were extremely kind and looked after us with lots of little touches that made a difference. By the time we left, we already wanted to come back. Thanks for the warm welcome. I wasn’t in Naples for pleasure, but staying at Alis Suite helped me feel at home even though I was far away. Alessandra, the owner, was so kind and friendly, and the apartment had all the comforts I needed to make the stay pleasant. The place is spotless, simple, and very central, with anywhere in the center of Naples just two minutes away. Hospitality really is an art, and Alessandra seems made for it. The owners made the stay special. Alessandro and Alessandra paid attention to every detail, checked in with us each day with real kindness, and quickly handled any small needs. They also gave us great advice for visiting Naples, sharing their knowledge of the city’s history and culture. A parking spot they provide is only 100 meters away, in an elegant building with double gates. The apartment is recently renovated and modern, and it’s remarkably quiet. Entry is by coded door system with a telephone, so there’s no need to carry house keys. It’s right in the heart of Vomero, inside the Vanvitelli Gallery, close to bars, pubs, pizzerias, restaurants, pharmacies, and a 24-hour Carrefour hypermarket. Metro line one and two funicular stations are nearby, putting Naples’ main attractions just minutes away. Inside, the bathrooms are comfortable and well appointed, especially the double shower. The kitchen has a microwave and coffee maker. There’s a sofa in the entryway that can also be a bed, with a lovely view of Vesuvius. The bedroom makes good use of space, with a built-in TV and open wardrobe, and a comfortable bed beneath LED lights that create a starry sky. We stayed September 17-20, 2017. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Naples.
