The food nearby was a highlight. There's a great pizzeria next door, the bakery coffee was fantastic, and a small restaurant just four minutes away served several dinners we enjoyed. Good food for the price, and it didn't feel like a tourist trap. People were friendly and helpful, though English isn't widely spoken since this isn't a typical tourist district. I recommend the tram into the city centre, but walking works too. The ANM app lets you buy bus, metro, and tram tickets more cheaply than tourist tickets. Be careful with Uber: it first puts a €10 hold on your card, then may add another €30 without notice. The room was beautiful, clean, and just like the photos. We had to change rooms on arrival, but they explained why and handled it smoothly. The caretaker was a lovely, incredibly kind woman who explained everything and was always ready to help. Breakfast was a big platter of pastries with orange juice and water, simple but a nice start to the day. The bathroom was nice, though I missed having a bathrobe. The soundproofing wasn't good, and our view was the prison wall rather than the pretty city, which was disappointing. We still enjoyed our stay, and a few improvements could make it better.

We went as a family, two adults and kids aged 8 and 10, for three nights in the family room and had a wonderful time. The B&B feels practically new, is very clean, and is close to the metro, about 15 minutes from the main station and city centre. Rosaria is a very friendly, hospitable Italian lady who also speaks English. I really recommend this place!

We were heading south in Italy to visit family, flying into Naples and then taking the train, so we looked for a B&B between the airport and station. B&B Amica Geniale was a great price when we booked online. We needed a much later check-in than usual, but after a few WhatsApp messages with Rosaria, everything was sorted and she picked us up at the airport. She was lovely to talk to, answered all our questions, explained how everything worked, and even stayed up to say goodbye when we left. I left my phone behind, unfortunately, but Rosaria messaged me and we'll pick it up on our way back. The room was spacious and very clean, with a great mattress and air conditioning. It had everything we needed, plus a tasty little breakfast selection. I think we'll visit B&B Amica Geniale again. Thanks to the B&B and Rosaria xx All our love, Enzo and Leanne. X

The host was very nice. It's about a 20-minute walk to the centre, and there's a metro station nearby, though getting into it is quite difficult. The only small annoyance was having to call them to get into the building.
