B&B Centralstationhouse

The administration was top notch!!!

For what you pay, the property feels overpriced. The area isn’t the best, and the bathroom is in pretty bad condition. The bathrooms are out in the hallway and shared with other guests, so what you really get is a bed with an outside bathroom. The refrigerator is out there too and shared. In the end, this is an apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, not really a B&B.

I spent three nights here after a third party rented me the room, rather than the actual owner. When I saw the appalling state of it, I asked to speak with the owner but wasn’t given the chance, which was strange in itself. I’ve never stayed somewhere so dirty or so careless toward guests. There was no mattress cover, and the duvets and blankets were filthy. A sheet was left in the room, so I had to make the bed myself on arrival or sleep on the mattress, with only a used sheet as a cover and the dirty duvet directly on top. The shower tray was so dirty that I had to clean it before showering, and everything else in the bathroom was dirty too. The air conditioning wouldn’t produce hot air, even at full heat. I had to keep everything in my suitcase because running a finger over the furniture or chairs left it black and sticky. I sincerely hope nobody else gets ripped off like I did. Staying in this bed and breakfast was one of the worst experiences of my life.

The room was unbelievably dirty. The duvet was filthy, the toothbrush holder was encrusted, and the shower tray was covered in hair and absolutely unsightly. There was no shampoo, shower gel, shower mat, or mattress protector, and that’s only part of the long list of “misfortunes.” I’ve never stayed in a room like this in my life. I strongly advise people not to book Central Station House. The photo shows just a small example of the duvet you’d be expected to sleep under. All this cost €80.00 per night, paid in advance before I saw the room. I made the mistake of not insisting on seeing it first.
