The people working here were warm and did their best to help, but some practical things were disappointing. I tried calling on several different days and couldn't get through, which made me wonder how responsive they were. Room service was inconsistent too, even with basics like toilet paper. The stay has promise if you're patient with those logistical snags.

You get keys for both the building and the hotel entrance, so you can come and go as you please. The receptionist was kind and helpful, and the cleaning was good. I did dislike that my room door was left unlocked after cleaning. It's a small hotel and outsiders can't get in, but I still prefer my things locked up when I'm away. The hotel has only a few rooms on the building's 9th floor, and they're a good standard with balconies. Breakfast, if you pay for it, is served in your room because there's no dining room. One odd thing to know: on workdays during the day, the elevator costs 10 cents per ride. Reception can give you the coins, but it's useful to know if you arrive on a workday. I highly recommend the place and would like to return to Naples.

The lift in this old office building needs a 10-cent coin to move in the morning. Staff or the cleaner can help if you don't have change, but we found the setup really bizarre. Our room wasn't as good as expected, though the staff were friendly. Noise carries between rooms, especially in the morning when the cleaner starts working. The shower is right beside the toilet, so everything gets wet when you use it.

The room I had was huge, which is a rare treat in Italy where there's often barely room to open a suitcase. It also had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Great location, and I love this place. Highly recommended.
