We spent three days in the Doppia Economy #1 Room at Bed for Naples. The neighborhood was pleasant, with a tram right nearby, and the room had nice furniture and looked freshly renovated. It was clean, and the hosts were helpful and easy to communicate with. There were two things that made us uneasy. On our first day, someone used a key to walk into our room twice while we were asleep. We told the hosts, who said not to worry, but we still felt uncomfortable afterward. Also, there were no actual windows in the room. The photos seem bright because of a filter, while the room itself felt dark and stuffy. The only window was by the stairs, outside our floor, and opened onto a stairwell next to the elevator, so it was noisy with people going up and down. There was no way to get fresh air into the room. It was okay overall, but it's good to know what to expect.

Getting around from Bed in Naples in Vomero was easy, with Vanvitelli metro station and both Funicolare di Chiaia and Funicolare di Montesanto close by. The prices felt reasonable for the quality, and having our own kitchenette was a real plus. You can also pay extra for things like towel changes. The owners and staff were lovely to deal with. They replied to our requests right away, whatever the time or season. We really appreciated the warm welcome.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was small but nice. The location was good, and the host was wonderful. The downside is that it's right by the entrance of a big building, so the door slamming and people talking in the hallway were audible all the time.
