The café downstairs served lovely pastries for breakfast, which was included. Our apartment was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed, including a tidy kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, kettle, and a great range of herbal teas. They welcomed us very warmly. With my two children, we had a really positive stay, and being right by the Maschio Angioino was ideal.

The location was excellent, and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast came to the room, and there were coffee pods, cold drinks, and bathroom products. The bed was comfortable and there was Netflix on the TV. Still, the place needs attention: paint was coming off some walls, the carpet was stained and worn, and cleanliness was lacking, with hair everywhere. When we switched on the whirlpool, something unclear made the water dirtier.

The welcome was really warm, and the included breakfast was decent. We spent eight nights there at the end of August for €540, which felt like very good value, and the location made it easy to explore the city. The room was spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, with daily housekeeping. The bedding, though, was very poor. Such a shame, since the stay was otherwise very positive.

The studio was clean and welcoming, and the location is hard to beat, just a few steps from the Maschio Angioino and Galleria Umberto I. We paid €150 for the night of June 2nd, so I expected more care with the upkeep. Breakfast came to the room in disposable cups, and the little lack of attention to detail is why I’m not giving five stars. Still, it was a great stay.
