Casa Toto

The location was excellent, and 320 euros for two nights for six people is a fantastic deal for the owners and a fair price for us. But half an hour before we arrived, we were told that linen service would cost extra, five euros per person for washed and rewashed towels. The issue isn’t the five euros, it’s that nobody was clear about it until the last minute. We booked in March for a June stay, so there was plenty of time to tell us. The house was damp, with moisture marks all over the bathrooms. Ventilation was poor, and only one bathroom had a window. That same bathroom had a broken showerhead and no hot water. The owner suggested we try something, but it barely helped. To be fair, the house was sparkling clean and smelled great, but poor upkeep takes away from that effort. We were expected to check out at 10 am. They came in right at 10, hurried us along, and complained that we were ten minutes late. The delay was because one bathroom had no hot water. There were three men and three women, six showers to take.
