I want people to know what I wish I'd known before choosing this hotel. The photos show the room's good parts, but the building itself is awful. Nobody mentioned that the lift costs money. On my first day, the door closed before I saw the coin machine, and I got stuck inside without change. That's what happened to me. One night, a strong blue warning light from the smoke detector woke me up. The host insisted everything was fine without coming to check, so I was scared and couldn't sleep. They later said they didn't want to be disturbed at midnight. There was hardly anyone at reception, and communicating in English was difficult. The first-day experience left me traumatized. I feel this hotel is a scam. Reply to the owner: There was no message about the lift, only one with the door codes. I was stuck because the lift door shut before I noticed the coin machine. I know what happened to me. I live and work in an English-speaking country, and English is my main language of communication, so there wasn't a problem on my end. I called around 12:30 to ask about change for the room, and you told me to come back at 1. I was in another town and there wasn't enough time, so that wasn't possible.

We found this place just when we needed a room near the port before heading to Amalfi the next day. The host went out of his way to help, and Rosa the cleaner did a great job. She even made sure we had the 5c for the lift after we'd forgotten it. The room was good value, modern, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Great service and attention to detail, guys. Good luck!

We liked it so much we booked again. It’s well placed for the alibus airport transfer and for exploring the city. The rooms have all the little things you need, even a stash of coins for the lift. The outside might look a bit unkempt, but that’s common in Naples and in lots of places we’ve seen in Italy. Inside, it’s great.

I booked five nights at ciao marina. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with good air conditioning. Right by the marina port, it was easy to get around by ferry or bus, and there were good Italian restaurants and cafes nearby thanks to the central location. Mario was super friendly and helpful, even arranging late self check-in. I can highly recommend this apartment, five stars.
