Da Polly a Piazza Amedeo

Polly is a wonderful host. The accommodation is comfortable and quiet, and in a great location.

The rooms are small and spartan, but clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly. The property is near the city center, though the entrance is somewhat anonymous and there's no parking.

I’ve stayed at Polly twice now and enjoyed both visits. The room was quiet, and the air conditioning was wonderful. The owner was very flexible about booking and arranging to collect the key at the door. There were a couple of small drawbacks, the bed was low and the shower narrow, though I understand physical constraints may make those hard for a B&B to change.

It’s good value for money, with friendly, helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. The location is handy for some of the city’s most elegant sights, and the metro and funicular are only steps away. The view isn’t much, though, and finding nearby parking is very difficult.
