DayBreak B&B

The receptionist and service really stood out. He lives in the same complex, helped with our luggage, shared a map and restaurant tips, arranged a 4am taxi, and got up then to see us off and make sure the driver understood our destination and fare. The building has a private access elevator, and we were given five keys for the doors to the room: the front gate, stairs if we took them, elevator, DayBreak entrance, and our room. It made us feel safely tucked away. The place is down a small alley parallel to the main road. Google GPS took us right there, and the DayBreak sign on the door helped us find it. We pressed the call button and the receptionist came down to let us in. We stayed in the deluxe room for 74 EUR, which was spacious, clean, and had high ceilings. The rooms were recently remodeled in a modern, Ikea-like style. Ours had air conditioning, a TV, hairdryer, coffeemaker, safe, and a fridge stocked with good snacks and drinks for just 50 cents each. The bed was a proper king, not two twins pushed together with a gap in the middle. Breakfast was available at a nearby cafe, though we didn’t try it because we left at 4am. We spent 2 weeks in Italy, and among the 6 hotels and Airbnb places we booked, this was both the best and the cheapest. Dante subway station and a busy piazza are less than a block away. There are lots of shops and good places to eat on the nearby main road, and walking about half a mile along it takes you to the harbor and boardwalk with hotels and restaurants. There weren’t many Google Maps reviews, so we weren’t sure at first, but we’re very glad we stayed and would come back.

The metro is very close, and you can walk to lots of things worth seeing. A great place to stay in Naples.
