The location is good, though it’s in a bar area that gets crowded and loud on weekends. The room had poor sound insulation, which made sleeping difficult. There was mold in the bathroom, the shower was very small, and there wasn’t a cupboard with shelves in the room.

We couldn’t reach the staff at all after booking a room at this “hotel.” A neighbor kindly let us into the building, but locating the bed and breakfast itself felt almost impossible. Then, 24 hours later, we got an email saying the room wasn’t available. Thanks for letting us know a day too late.

Around 1-2 pm at the reception desk, the manager was drunk and shouted at us because I hadn’t replied to his WhatsApp message earlier and because we showed up 30 minutes before check-in. He was so aggressive that I worried things might turn physical. It felt dangerous, so stay away.

We left right away and didn’t look back. The landlord was completely drunk and screamed at us when we arrived. We were an hour early because he’d written to say that was okay, and at one point I thought he might hit us. A horrible experience with a horrible person. Sad.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home during our four-night stay. The hotel and room were very clean. I’d recommend it if you’re planning to stay in Napoli.
