The staff were friendly, and I’ve got no complaints about them. The room was a different matter. It smelled bad as soon as we walked in, and opening the window didn’t help. Turning on the AC made it worse. The bathroom smelled of mold, and the shower on Floor 2 had weak water pressure. The hallway floor was very dirty, or maybe just badly worn. I’m not sure.

The front desk team was great, with dinner suggestions, and the manager went out of his way to accommodate my family. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were decent with strong air conditioning. It’s a nice spot within easy walking distance of the Spanish Quarter.

We enjoyed the junior suite, and the spa was relaxing and simple to use. A table in the room for meals or working would’ve been nice, but we managed without one.

Maria, Gabriella, and Patrizia deserve a special thank you. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, professional, and attentive, and the service made us feel at home. That’s what really sets Golden Hotel apart, and I’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Napoli. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the complimentary toiletries were a thoughtful touch. The location is close to the city center and key sights, yet it stayed peaceful and quiet at night. We had a fantastic stay.

We were a group of seven across four rooms. The hotel was clean, and the prices were lower than at comparable places. The location was superb for the usual tourist spots. The entrance stays locked, with access through reception or your key card, and there are safes suitable for a visit. Reception staff were pleasant, helpful, and polite. The air conditioning didn’t work the first night, but they fixed it quickly.
