The pictures give a misleading impression, and the neighborhood felt very dodgy even though the location itself is convenient. It was loud at night, so keep a close eye on your belongings and your safety. There’s no lobby, just a small table and chair where one man sits, and there’s no elevator, though that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Check-out is at 10:30, earlier than anywhere we’ve stayed before. Breakfast was the same for all four days, and none of the breakfast staff understood English or seemed to know what they were serving. Book at your own risk.

Breakfast was reasonable, and the rooms are pleasant, though cramped enough that the door hits the bed. The real problem is getting upstairs: there’s no elevator, and the stairs are steep and difficult to manage for three floors, even if you’re fit.

Getting to the old city of Napoli and the train station is easy from here. Breakfast was the highlight, and the hotel had everything we needed despite looking small. There’s no elevator, but staff can help carry your luggage.

The room price seemed quite reasonable, and the location worked well, a few minutes from the central station and close to the historical center of Naples. I’d choose this hotel again if I return to Naples. The rooms stay cool, which is a must in summer, and the staff made us feel at home. Everyone, from the receptionist and cleaning ladies to the wonderful woman in the kitchen, went out of their way to help. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked. I’d definitely recommend it.
