While we were asleep, someone entered our room through the small balcony and stole our phones, smartwatch, cash, and credit cards. The cards were used fraudulently right away. We had booked Kore Suites in Naples through Booking.com, and the break-in put our lives at risk. The property has no cameras, alarms, or other external security measures. When we arrived, the bed was already broken. Francesca said the previous guest had caused it and that Booking.com would make them pay. But when we were the ones harmed, nobody took responsibility. We were robbed, violated, and traumatized, and both the property and Booking.com turned their backs on us. Booking.com first acknowledged there might be reimbursement, then stopped replying to all our messages and left us feeling completely abandoned. It’s shocking that such a large platform still lists properties that put guests at risk. Do NOT trust Booking.com with your safety. One of the property’s clauses says, “If you cause damage to the property during your stay, you may be charged up to EUR 300 after check-out.” They’re ready to charge a guest for damage, yet when guests are robbed, the property and Booking.com don’t respond.

We felt well looked after here. The owners were kind and helpful, and even let us leave our backpacks at the property after checkout, just before our train, so we didn’t have to carry them around the city. Those little touches made a difference. The room was spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and everything needed to feel at home. The layout was well organized and the details were thoughtfully handled. There was also a coffee machine in the entrance hall, available to guests, which we really appreciated. The modern bathroom and shower were functional and impeccably clean, as was the whole property. Getting around was easy from this strategic location, just steps from the central station and metro. The B&B is modern and functional, with fully independent access. Check-in was quick and stress-free because all the instructions came clearly and in detail via WhatsApp. Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout our stay, good for work or leisure. You can tell they care about hospitality and guests’ comfort. A very positive stay, and one I’d happily repeat.

The owner kindly let us into our room before check-in, since we arrived in the morning, and also let us leave our bags. I stayed for two nights with my partner. The room was lovely, and the central location made a great base for exploring Naples. I’ll be back!

We spent two days in Naples and stayed at the KORE. It’s a lovely B&B on the first floor, in a strategic spot that’s convenient for exploring the city. Francesca was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!
