Breakfast was the best part, served upstairs on the host’s large patio with spectacular views. The pastries and cooked omelet were wonderful, and the host served them cheerfully. We stayed in the beautiful “blue room,” which had a small patio and great views. The bathroom and air conditioning both worked well.

It has a real family feel and is well placed for exploring Naples. We slept well in the comfortable beds. Our room was large, clean, and homely, with a lovely view from the small balconies, though a few finer details could use some TLC. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and high quality. I’d stay here again when I’m in Naples.

We had a great stay, and even the fold-out bed was comfortable. When a mix-up came up, they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to sort it out. We’d booked the “royal double room” on the booking platform for two people, where it listed two queen beds. They thought we planned to share, so when we said we each wanted our own bed, they rushed to set up the second one. If you book that room, called the Cobalt room on their website, for two people who don’t want to share, it’d help to mention that in the booking note.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of trains and buses but still close to the center. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the host checked our late flight time and offered support. Breakfast is served in his mother’s kitchen, with the balcony, and it doesn’t get more Italian than that. I’d suggest people complaining that the view faces the next building, the street is too small, or breakfast was in someone else’s kitchen choose another country, preferably Scandinavian, where no one will bother them.
