Clean and comfortable accommodation in central Naples, within easy reach of the main sights. The host was very helpful with suggestions, and the lovely terrace looks out toward the Certosa di San Martino.

The Spanish Quarter is a genuinely Neapolitan area and a great base for getting around. Everyone in the building was incredibly friendly, the owners were wonderful, and the facilities were spotless. There's also an amazing terrace with views of the castle and Vomero hill. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator. After eight and a half months moving around Naples, where most buildings don't have one, it didn't feel like a big deal. In Spain, that would cost stars, but here buildings without elevators are the norm. Otherwise, fantastic.
