We had a comfortable room with a roomy, elegant private bathroom, and the home felt welcoming. The area was quiet, and a lovely seafront walk was within reach. The nearby transport was handy, with the Cumana line about 50 meters away and Metro line 2 just steps away. Mr. Giuseppe replied quickly and was always available when we had questions or needed anything. There’s free parking nearby, on the street or elsewhere, and Mr. Giuseppe can help find an option if needed. Since we couldn’t have breakfast during the COVID-19 pandemic, he suggested an excellent pastry shop with an artisanal workshop almost down the street. There’s also a fantastic nearby pizzeria, Da Michele, by the Cumana station. A Margherita was about €3, and pizza with a beer cost no more than €5. You can also visit the City of Science and Italy’s most important 3D planetarium.

The railway crossing signal can be pretty bothersome because the Cumana station is just around the corner. Apart from that, the neighborhood is very quiet, and you can walk to a supermarket, the beach, and cafes. The accommodation was spotless, and the owner was friendly. I booked just 3-4 hours before arriving and got in touch with them right away, with all the information I needed. It’s well connected to Naples, about 15 minutes to the city center. They provide shower gel, shampoo, and towels. The kitchen couldn’t be used under the Covid rules at the time, so there were no plates or cutlery.

Giuseppe, the owner, was happy to offer tips on getting around. The apartment was clean and comfortable, just a short walk from the center of Naples.
