We didn't see anyone during our two-day stay, and there was no one to check us in. The room felt old and dusty, and the hairdryer in the bathroom was botched together and held on with brown tape. It might work for a traveler, but it didn't feel like a getaway for a couple. Average overall, with little care put into the room. I wouldn't call it a B&B experience, more like renting a self-contained apartment in an apartment building.

The room was spotless, and the building felt very secure. Getting around was easy with the metro, including the port, about a 15-minute ride away for Capri or Sorrento. We were put off by how dirty Naples and the surrounding area looked, though. Breakfast was only coffee and sweet pastries, the smallest B&B breakfast we had on our Europe trip. The water pressure was so low I felt like I was trying to wash my hair in the rain. The TV was about the size of a computer monitor, but that didn't bother us. There was nowhere to sit or use a restroom while checking in, so we had to walk down the block to find one. The two younger staff working at check-in were accommodating, and one woman rushed to get our room ready when we arrived earlier than expected, which we really appreciated.

The room was close to the old town, with everything within walking distance. Self check-in was organized well, with instructions posted on the floor. But the room itself wasn't clean: there was hair on the floor and dust around.

There was no Wi-Fi, and the hotel wouldn't offer a discount for the missing service. We also had no hot water, and Expedia had to get involved before it was resolved. I'd strongly suggest finding somewhere else to stay.

The room was tidy, clean, and nicely themed, with a TV, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, balcony, and shower in the room. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and transport and sights were easy to reach on foot. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place.
