Maison Marinella

Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. When our flight was delayed, he waited until the early hours to check us in himself, stayed available throughout our visit, and even helped arrange a taxi to the port at checkout. The guesthouse is beautiful, secure, and spotless. Our room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom, and we got fresh towels and bedding each day. Maison Marinella is ideally placed for exploring Naples on foot. I stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. Breakfast comes by voucher at a nearby bakery, where you can have a fresh croissant with coffee or juice. On our last morning the water was cold, but the host fixed it quickly after we messaged. Naples is noisy, and the walls between rooms are thin. Loud guests next door woke us on the second night, and our room beside the kitchen was also disturbed by light and noise from that area. This isn’t the host’s fault, but quiet hours and turning off shared-space lights after 10 PM might help future guests. Even with that, I’d highly recommend Maison Marinella for its cleanliness, comfort, location, and wonderful hospitality.
