The room was spacious, spotless, and had a fridge. There were free hot and cold drinks and snacks just outside it, and the staff spoke English. The shower cubicle was very small, though, and I think anyone with a 48" chest would struggle to wash in there. There was no bath. Getting in has its own complications: the entrance isn't on the street front, so it was hard to find, especially at night. The front desk doesn't open until 10.00, so if you're leaving early, settle up the night before. Location is a real plus for this B&B. It's about a four-minute walk from the ferry ticket office and port, handy for a late arrival followed by an early trip to the islands, and it works well for exploring the city too. For the price, location, and room, it's a great B&B.

The rooms were fairly clean and a decent size, but the fridge, stove, and even the shower head were broken. Finding the B&B by car was a headache on a busy Naples street, since it sits on a side street with no car access. When I finally got there, the alley was disgusting, with feces scattered around. The host looked shifty and mostly answered with grunts; his English was poor, and he wasn't sure whether I'd already paid through Expedia. Parking listed as free on Expedia turned out to cost 10€ a day, and the lot is on a second floor reached by a car lift that only the host controls. It was a pretty bad stay, and I wouldn't return to Marina ResArt b&b.

The owner was thoughtful, really kind, and helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was roomy and comfortable, and the place was clean.
