Materdays 24

The room itself was bright, very clean, and in a nice apartment. But it didn't match the advertisement, so I can't rate it higher. It's an apartment building without a 24-hour front desk, and there was no wake-up service. There also wasn't daily breakfast, a mini-market on site, a drying rack, or bicycle rental on site. Other reviews mentioned a kitchen area, but our keys didn't let us in. We stayed 9 nights. Cleaners came on the second day and never returned, so some fresh towels midway through the stay would have been nice. We rented the Double Room with Private External Bathroom. Its only privacy measure was a sign saying it was for the “Mermaid Room.” That didn't stop another guest from entering shortly after we arrived and trying to use the tub. There was no hot water then, so they couldn't, but they took our towels. We messaged Marco and were able to replace them. The tub had no plug, and, naturally, no shower curtain, which made it hard to use after the hot water was fixed the next day. A previous review had already mentioned the missing plug. I think it should have been replaced by now, or checked with every rental if it's an ongoing problem. Sorry Marco, my wife and I stand by this review in its entirety. This is our last and final edition to it.
