The location is good, the room was clean, and the amenities were decent, but I found it overpriced for what you get. The owner communicated very poorly. Street-facing rooms are noisy every night and have no curtains, so there’s little privacy. There were no cups for the kettle, either. Breakfast is just bland coffee and a brioche at a nearby bar, where the service may be the worst in the square. The listing says WiFi is available, but it isn’t. Older reviews say the same, and when you bring it up, you only get excuses. I won’t be back.

The room was quiet since it didn’t face the street, even though the B&B is right in busy, noisy Spaccanapoli. It was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, and the manager was helpful, though the room could use maintenance. The WiFi didn’t work when we reported it, and I’d seen the same issue in earlier reviews, so I don’t think it’s actually available. Breakfast across the street meant coffee or cappuccino and a croissant. Even freshly squeezed juice cost extra, €3 for a tiny glass. I understand that, but I don’t think including it would ruin the property. I wouldn’t pick this place again.

The guesthouse is in a great spot and has excellent amenities. It was clean, though there’s room to improve. A few small fixes could make it excellent.
