Napoli Central B&B

I love Naples.

Such a lovely city.

I stayed two years ago, and this was one of the worst B&Bs in the area for me. The floors had cracks in several places, not just one tile. We paid extra for a room with a whirlpool tub, but it didn’t work. Salvatore had promised breakfast each morning, yet he usually got up around 10, after everyone had already gone. Housekeeping was poor too, and the air conditioning didn’t work. I’d go somewhere else.

The fresh croissants and sfogliatelle from the pastry shop were the one good part of our stay. Room #102 had no bedside tables, and the bathroom was missing basic things like towel racks or hooks. The toilet had no seat or lid, and the sink was so tiny there was nowhere to put even a toothbrush and toothpaste. Breakfast was basic, with no seating even when several guests were there, and there were no spoons, placemats, or napkins. There was no microwave or kettle, and the fridge was too small to keep opened drinks at a suitable temperature. Some basic maintenance and a few small additions would make the stay more comfortable.
