They did upgrade our family room to a suite, which wasn't necessary but was nice of them. Still, the area around Toledo was awful. There was trash and graffiti everywhere, the hotel was down a random alley, there were no good clothing stores, and people were rude. I could go on. In the room, the beds were set up wrong at first, though they fixed that. The AC didn't work, sheets were stained, the outside door wouldn't lock, the bathroom was tiny, and there was no shower door. I'm a petite 5'1 woman, so saying the bathroom was small means a lot. There was mold everywhere, and the kitchen area was dirty and hadn't been wiped down properly. The toilet in the master bathroom leaked every time it flushed and kept going for ten minutes. Their fix was to stuff toilet paper into the leak. It had clearly been there a while, because it was yellow. The women working there wouldn't even smile. I was paying for a service and expected at least some manners. After two days I'd had enough, so we moved all our stuff to Sorrento and stayed in a hostel that was 100 times better, even though we had to share a bathroom with strangers. When we left, we politely said the place was too small and we were going to another town. The older man at the front desk told us to turn around and give him a good reason. We hadn't even asked for a refund, though I felt we had every right to. I'm doing you a favor: don't stay here unless you're in a pinch and need a bed for one night. It was cheap, but the website I checked had no bad reviews, so I learned the hard way.
