Napolidays Toledo Apartment

The apartment was lovely and I had a great stay, but trying to rest after lunch was awful. The cleaning staff kept rushing around, banging things, shouting, and talking on their phones. People who want to rest deserve a bit more respect.

Bars, tobacconists, and supermarkets are right nearby, and Toledo Station is only 100 meters away. The apartment has been renovated and was clean and well cared for. When we arrived, some boiler maintenance was happening in the area outside the bedroom entrance. There were a few work items there, but it didn't disturb us. They called me soon after to apologize, and their hospitality really impressed me. There were three of us, and I'd highly recommend the place.

I have serious doubts about the Booking.com reviews for this property, especially since independent channels seem to agree. Its central location is the one good thing, but it hardly matters alongside the rest. My stay on the evening of April 18th was devastating. The sofa bed in the living room kitchen barely deserves the name. I've tried all sorts of sofa beds, but this one made constant noises with even the slightest movement. When I asked reception the next day how many people the accommodation was actually meant to sleep and explained the problem, they candidly told me no one had ever reported it. ???????? The walls between the apartments and rooms are just plasterboard, with no soundproofing inside. I was awake until 3 am because of the other guests being confined nearby. The finishes and furnishings aren't top-notch either. I've stayed in the area before, and there are much more comfortable places.

There was no one physically available to give us directions or help, and service felt nonexistent. We got our rooms very late because of problems with online check-in. The beds weren't made, there were treads on the walls, and we had no towels. The walls were very thin, so an extremely noisy couple next door was hard to ignore. The location is fairly convenient, but the street and bars make it extremely noisy.
