The one thing we appreciated was the location, which made it easy to reach several parts of the city. The cleaning boy was kind and did what he could, but these problems were outside his control. We paid more than 300 euros for three nights and expected much better. The room felt cold from a constant draft across the floor, and the air conditioner couldn’t heat it. It was also very noisy on the 12th floor, with outdoor sounds coming straight in. There was mold on the bathroom wall. The room itself wasn’t as spacious or presentable as the online photos suggested. In hindsight, the listed square meters were the only indication that the room shown wasn’t the one we’d get. The wardrobe was just an open shelf by the entrance. Breakfast was only one donut or croissant with coffee, which was disappointing.

We specifically chose a room with a terrace because we smoke, but there was no terrace. The bathroom walls were moldy, too. The whole apartment was about the size of a small room, and for €300, that wasn’t what we expected. The Booking photos didn’t show the room we were given. We thought we’d get the room with a bathtub since that was the only one pictured online. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You can get much better for the same money.

We had booked the deluxe triple apartment through Booking.com, where it’s rated as a 4-star deluxe apartment. It was clean, but far too small and basic for four adults with suitcases. On a rainy day we were stuck indoors, and it felt like a fraud. The sheets were unpleasant, there was nowhere to put a toothbrush in the shower room, and too much light came in at night. Just avoid it.

The only real plus was being close to Cavour metro station. Otherwise, this place ruined a big part of my holiday. We paid over 100 euros a night, and that’s unacceptable for what we got. Breakfast was the worst part. On the first morning, we ordered coffee and croissants, but they were raw dough and inedible. Coffee came in cracked mugs, or paper espresso cups. The next morning we got coffee only, and on the third we gave up and went to a nearby cafe. The kitchen where they prepare “breakfast” is open to the toilet where they wash the mugs, and they keep the linen in that same area. The building was horrible, and getting in felt creepy. You have to climb stairs to reach a filthy elevator that takes you to the 12th floor. The room was fairly decent, but traffic noise came through day and night. There was no toilet lid. A nasty smell filled the room, and we realized it came from the plastic covering the head part of the bed. The bed throw was stained. Avoid this place.
