B&B Monserrato

Francesca made the stay for us. She was patient, helped us a lot over WhatsApp, and let us leave our luggage even though checkout was at 10. She’s trustworthy, and I’d confidently recommend this clean B&B. Naples has a real vibe, everyone should visit once. The location was perfect.

The suite was so quiet that we barely heard a sound, even though we were four stories up in a very busy city. It was quieter than the rural places we stayed, where dogs seemed to bark all evening. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the owner patiently welcomed two sweaty, backpack-carrying old guys who'd taken a wrong turn and showed us what we needed to know. We picked B&B Monserrato for practical reasons. We’re an older Canadian couple, closer to retirement than middle age, and wanted to walk from the train station. It was also an easy walk to the ferry terminal, which was especially handy. One thing to know: the B&B name might lead Canadians or people from the United States to expect breakfast, but there isn’t any. The cooking setup is good for making breakfast, reheating food from the nearby supermarket, or whatever.

The room was spotless, and the little balcony had a lovely sea view. The location is perfect. We understand the sheets are changed every three days, but towels follow that same schedule too, which is hard to understand, especially in summer at 85 euros a night. A shame.

A decent room for a couple of nights, with a TV, internet, refrigerator, table and chairs, and its own bathroom. The location is good, and the hosts were really kind about arranging our arrival and departure.
