Neocore

It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the Metro and tourist areas were VERY close. The water pressure could’ve been better, and breakfast was a letdown. We left at 7 am to find only coffee and pre wrapped processed items. There wasn’t really anyone around while we were there, so we couldn’t ask about other food. Luckily, there’s a grocery market on the street with plenty to eat and drink.

The place was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and I’d happily recommend it. Staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and Excellent, and whenever something came up, it was sorted quickly and efficiently.

The room looked nicely decorated, but the shower was a little dirty and seemed to have mold. We also spotted what looked like a small cockroach in the bathroom. The neighborhood was okay, pretty dirty, though close to some of the main sites.

My room at Neocore Hotel was spacious and came with plenty of thoughtful extras: fresh towels, a kettle, complimentary bottles of water, snacks, teabags, and even extra biscuits just outside the room. The bed was large and comfortable, the pillow soft and supportive, and the bathroom clean, well-kept, and working properly. The receptionist had turned on the air conditioning before I arrived, so after a warm walk in the sun the room was already cool. It was also very quiet at night, which made for a peaceful stay in Naples. Finding the hotel was a little tricky at first, since it isn’t in the most straightforward part of the city. Once I’d arranged my arrival, though, everything went smoothly, and a kind gentleman from the hotel came to meet me. That was a great welcome. Neocore doesn’t have the feel of a traditional hotel with a constantly staffed reception. It’s more like an Airbnb setup, which might not work for everyone, but it suited me. When I needed help, the service was responsive and helpful. For the price, I thought the comfort and amenities were excellent value. I’d consider staying here again on my next trip to Naples.
