Fabio, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and always there when we had questions. We felt comfortable throughout and would gladly return. Palazzo Ferrara was a great place to stay in Naples, with clean, well-kept, quiet rooms and a nice balcony facing the street opposite. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the Central Station. There’s also a street market right outside, handy for groceries and other everyday things.

Roberto was helpful and gave us a map of the sights, plus guidance on the metro lines. The apartment was near Garibaldi central station, so we could get everywhere quickly. We had a very pleasant stay in the middle of summer. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice street view. Good value for money, I totally recommend it.

Roberto is the heart of the place. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, hostels, and private rooms, but never met anyone as helpful purely out of kindness and courtesy as Mr. Roberto. He’ll point you toward good restaurants nearby or around town, and destinations such as Pompeii, Vesuvius, and the islands. Breakfast is at a nearby cafe, using a ticket from the owner. Palazzo Ferrara is a beautiful, typical old Naples building that’s being restored, and it has a nice elevator. Our room had a double bed, a large terrace facing the inner courtyard, and a spacious modern bathroom. It’s a good base for a few days, five minutes on foot from the Central Railway Station, where you can catch trains in all directions and buses to Capodichino airport. The station area has a poor reputation, as station districts often do, but I wouldn’t rely on the clichés. The hotel is well secured. Stay relaxed and confident, and nothing untoward will happen. Those concerns are prejudice without a basis in reality.

The neighborhood around Palazzo Ferrara is unfortunately a bit dirty, though there are nearby hidden gems such as Pizzeria Pellone. The metro and trains are within walking distance. The spacious, elegant room was clean, quiet, well equipped, and cleaned every day, so coming back after a full day of hiking was a breeze. Roberto, our host, started things off by giving us the biggest room in the flat, and kindly shared useful sightseeing and transport information. His kindness and the room make this a worthwhile choice for longer trips too. By far my best B&B experience so far. Highly recommended.

The host was welcoming and really friendly, and shared some great local tips. Our room and bathroom were spacious, new, and clean. We had a really comfortable stay, and the location was great, close to the station.
