Partenope Luxury rooms

We slept really well here, thanks to the comfortable mattresses and excellent soundproofing. Our room 203 was spacious, very clean, and had a handy walk-in closet. The owners were especially kind and helpful, and we appreciated the free minibar, the new capsule coffee machine, and the option to include breakfast at the bar across the street in the room price. There were a couple of drawbacks. The view from the room was poor, and the shower has only a half-door, so water can get onto the floor. There’s also nowhere to put toiletries in the shower. We stayed for the weekend of May 6-7, 2023, at 63 Piazza Sannazzaro, right by the tunnel exit. The building has two staircases, A and B, with B noticeably more “popular” than A.

The blackout curtains were broken, so daylight would wake us up. The bottles for shampoo and shower gel looked exactly alike, with no indication of which was which. There was nowhere to put a makeup bag, and towels seemed to be left scattered around. For two people, there was only one towel, and the bathroom had no shower mat, so the floor got soaked. The place overlooks the tunnel exit, and with the balconies not soundproofed, we kept hearing traffic and horns from cars and motorcycles. Check-in was handled through WhatsApp, and I never met the owner. There was nothing luxurious about this B&B.

We’ll definitely return. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. The place is well situated in Piazza Sannazaro.

Check-in was quick and simple, and breakfast was good. The room was nice, and the location has excellent metro connections. A positive stay, recommended, 5 stars.
