Piazza Garibaldi 39 in Naples

The utensils were in an appalling state, as if they hadn't been washed all day. Being served dirty utensils is unhygienic and unacceptable, and says a lot about the cafe's lack of attention to detail. The staff seemed uninterested in good customer service, and the barista was especially rude and unfriendly. My visit to this Mac Cafe in Naples was thoroughly unimpressive.

It felt like a standard McDonald’s visit. The inside was really clean, despite what other reviewers say, and the food tasted much like McDonald’s I've had around the world. The touchscreens were simple and the staff were okay. A security guard directs people at the entrance. One worker told me I couldn't take photos, which seemed odd. Still, a decent McDonald’s.

I waited almost 20 minutes just to order an ice cream, with nobody at the counter, and then had to wait even longer for it. When I asked for help, I was treated rudely. Antonio was especially disrespectful, looking at me with contempt and practically throwing my change at me. Very bad experience at this McDonald’s. I don't recommend it.

This has happened twice now: nearly 20 minutes to get an Americano and an egg and bacon McMuffin, even though there was no line or other order to explain the wait. The staff were chatting among themselves and neither spoke nor tried to speak any language besides Italian. It felt like service just for locals and didn’t reflect the McDonald’s brand values.
