Genny and her team looked after us so well, bringing breakfast every morning and helping with our travel arrangements, including booking a taxi back to the airport. We had a wonderful week at Relais Al Museo and would thoroughly recommend it. We stayed in the Edera Apartment, which was spacious, very clean and well maintained. It had a balcony over the street, with Vesuvius visible in the distance. The location is very good, with an easy 10 minute walk to the National Archaeological Museum and the Metro, and about 15 minutes to Via dei Tribunali in Naples' historic center.

The apartment is nicely arranged, and there's an elevator from the stairwell up to the apartments. Our bedroom was upstairs on the second floor, while the living room, toilet and shower were downstairs, with access to a small balcony. There was also a double sofa bed downstairs, so sleeping on the ground floor is an option. Heating and cooling come from the air conditioning. Other rooms have somewhat different layouts, and ours had a small kitchenette. The stairs to the upper floor are quite high, which could make them hard to use for anyone with mobility issues. The view is limited because another building is only 7 meters away, though you can see the top of Vesuvio Vulcan if you look left. We arrived late, but still got a pleasant welcome from two hosts: an older, very nice Italian speaking woman and an equally pleasant younger woman who speaks English. One of them was happy to share local tips and spoke English. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the Spanish Quarter and Piazza del Plebiscito, where there are the Royal Palace, Teatro di San Carlo (from 1737), the cathedral and some lovely cafés.
