Residenza Santa Lu B&B

The room was unbearable: it was tiny, musty and stuffy, with stained sheets, pillowcases marked with footprints, and hair and dirt everywhere. The bathroom was filthy too, and the toilet paper left for us was used and wet. We were shocked and called the Host over and over, but got no answer. We eventually found her husband's number; he picked up after our fourth call and apologized, though not very professionally. We literally ran away, and in the days afterward the Host never contacted us. Not once. We arrived at 8:30 on Sunday morning and found nobody there to welcome us. Luckily, the building's security guard kindly gave us directions. The owner's phone was switched off. We had to check in at a bar, which felt unprofessional, and waited 15 minutes for our keys. The bartender then kindly walked us to the room. The entrance was narrow, dirty and smelled bad. The front door was hard to open, and its lock didn't work properly. NEVER GO THERE!!!

The price was reasonable, and the window looked out to the sea. But check-in meant finding staff at a different location, and they didn't speak English. The room and building looked less clean and bright than the photos, and the room was noisy.

A clean, comfortable room right by the seafront, with Piazza Plebiscito just a few steps away. Really central. Viva Ciro!!

It’s a nice location, and everything else was beautiful, but the bathroom wasn’t clean. That left me disappointed.
