Honestly, I don't understand the hotel's low rating. Maybe people are just mean. It's well located, the service is excellent, the restaurant is superb and has a chef, and breakfast is delicious and filling. Thanks for everything. I'll be back!

I booked through hotels.com in March and messaged with a question, but got no reply. I tried again closer to arrival, and also emailed, with no response either time. Then, a day before our honeymoon, I was told our reservation had been cancelled by my side, which wasn't true. hotels.com said the hotel was permanently closed, so we had to find somewhere else to stay within a few hours. When we got to Napoli, though, the hotel looked very much open.

The location is hard to beat, close to the train station and Metro. It's also nearly ideal if your tour meets at the Starhotels Terminus. We had a gorgeous corner room on the newly renovated third floor, with two balconies, one facing the mountains, and a huge TV. The shower was great, but watch out for the hot water. The hotel restaurant's chef makes amazing dishes. We went early on our first night and had the place to ourselves. Breakfast is free and good, though there's more sweet food than protein. The old, small elevator did its job.
