Spira Mirabilis Napoli

Giovanni and his wife were so welcoming and kind, and kept checking that everything was all right. I don’t speak any Italian, which I felt bad about, but they made me feel comfortable anyway. My room at Spira Mirabilis was spacious and very clean. Their care made my stay in Napoli easy and comfortable. Thank you!

The owner was caring and resourceful, and the rooms have a simple, elegant Italian-style breakfast. The B&B sits on a traditional steep street, a minute from Santa Lucia road, where there are supermarkets, restaurants, and nice bars. It’s also very central: in about five minutes on foot you can reach Plebiscito square, then Toledo road and the Spanish quarters, or the Mediterranean gulf in the other direction. The rooms have been recently refurbished while keeping an old-fashioned look, and the place is exceptionally clean and well kept. I’d definitely recommend it.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to see Naples’ main sights. The building has recently been renovated. We stayed one night in a quadruple room with a shared bathroom, which was clean and had very good AC. The double bed was comfortable, though the two single beds felt a bit short for us since we’re tall. Breakfast was fine, with typical Italian spreads, tea, coffee, biscuits, and fruit.

What a great place, sparkling clean, attractive, comfortable, and well equipped. Giovanni and Michele, along with the ladies, were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming!
