Suite Riviera 84 (Adults Only)

Francesca made arriving easy. She messaged us ahead of time and even cut her lunch break short to hand over the keys. We found the room clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the bathroom was nearly as large as the room, with both a shower and a tub. The place is about a five-minute walk from the sea, with plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. The neighborhood felt very safe. Bus 151 is a short walk away and gets to the train station in around 25 minutes; Metro line L2 is about a 14-minute walk and makes the trip much quicker. We stayed three nights and would book again when we return to lovely NAPOLI. ❤️❤️❤️

Most places were an easy walk from here. The bus and metro are close by too, and we had a wonderful stay.

The sea-view rooms may be nice, judging from the reviews, and the location is excellent. That was why I picked the property. But I strongly advise against booking the room listed as “NO VIEW.” The building is very run-down, although the apartment itself has been renovated recently. The small window in our room looks onto a shabby indoor stairwell, so there’s no view and the room feels stuffy and musty. The owner seemed to realize from our faces that we weren’t happy. That evening, they told Booking.com we hadn’t arrived and cancelled the booking, which meant we couldn’t leave a review. There was also an issue before arrival: I said I’d get there around 4 p.m., and the woman called that “early check-in.” When I politely questioned that and sent a Booking.com screenshot showing check-in starts at 4, she said the site had made a mistake. She said an early check-in costs an extra €30, which was fine. The tone she thought she heard in our messages, and the way this was handled, left a bad impression and reflects poorly on a lovely city full of decent people. P.S. I can imagine the reply saying I dirtied or broke something, or made the whole thing up. The truth is that two rooms are beautiful, while the third is a dump.

The Capri Suite really stayed with me. It’s over 20 square meters, has a lovely sea view and a big whirlpool tub. I also got to see the other two suites. The Procida Suite, where I stayed, was spacious and had a comfortable whirlpool tub too. Its window didn’t face the sea, but the view felt like a small detail in such a welcoming room. I’d read some negative reviews and was unsure at first, but my own stay made me question some of them. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the location is very convenient, and the owner was extremely kind and professional. I visit this area often and think this is one of its best places to stay. I hope to come back soon and try the Capri Suite.
